Wellstar Kennestone OB/GYN

Dr. Phillips earned his medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta in 1987. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency training at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. A native of Marietta, Ga., Dr. Phillips has practiced obstetrics and gynecology there since 1995. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Society of Reproductive Medicine, Cobb County Medical Society and Georgia Obstetrical and Gynecological Society.

Dr. Webb earned his Doctorate of Medicine from Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and completed his residency at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a member of the American Medical Association, Society of Reproductive Medicine, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Association of Gynecologist Laparoscopists and other state and local medical societies.Dr. Webb has a special interest in operative laparoscopy, abnormal uterine bleeding, high-risk obstetrics and family planning.

Dr. Bryant earned his bachelor’s degree at Kennesaw State University in psychology and his medical degree at Mercer University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga – Erlanger Medical Center.

His professional memberships include Junior Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology and American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Interests include high risk Obstetrics and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Bryant is currently in practice with Wellstar Kennestone OB/GYN.

Dr. Aldridge received her bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She earned her medical degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Dr. Aldridge is currently in practice with Wellstar Medical Group Kennestone OB/GYN.

Dr. L. Richard Bardwell, Jr., received a bachelor’s degree from Columbus State University and earned his Doctorate in Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed his internship and residency training at Mercer University in Macon, Ga. His peers honored him as the Teaching Resident of the Year on three occasions, and he served as chief resident in 1988. After his residency, Dr. Bardwell remained at Mercer as a clinical professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and as a lecturer in the Department of Physiology at the Mercer University School of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a fellow of the American College of OB/GYN and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the American Menopausal Society. His special interests include high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery and the management of perimenopausal and menopausal health issues.

Dr. Elijah Gilbert received his bachelor’s degree and medical degree from Mercer University in Macon, Ga. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Ga.

He is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. Gilbert currently is in practice with Wellstar Kennestone OB/GYN.

Dr. Carey A. Dobbins-Sood attended Mercer University in Macon, Ga., where she obtained her medical degree. She completed her residency at Mercer University, Medical Center of Georgia. She is board certified in OB/Gyn. Dr. Dobbins-Sood is a native Georgian and her outside interests include films, local sports and traveling.
