We were seen by the doctor within a reasonable amount of time, given our appointment time. However, after the doctor saw us, there was some medicine they needed to give to my daughter. We waited almost 40 minutes to receive this medicine. It felt like much longer than it should have been.

The check-in process needs to improve. We arrived at 10 am for a 10:30 appointment and didn't get called back until after 11am. There need to be a pre-check in process so a lot of the wait and verification can be reduced. That was a gross misuse of our time. I did not have a pleasant experience there.

Dr. CRISTINA PELAEZ VELEZ was amazing. My son was struggling to breathe and started panicking, and the doctor quickly ordered a breathing treatment. He calmed down, she checked him out and said that it's probably just a severe asthma attack and that she recommends we go to CHOA ER for follow-up and possibly x-rays. It turns out he did have an asthma attack and that he needed the additional care, as my son was admitted over night due to the fact that he needed to be on oxygen. I appreciate the thorough and accurate information and follow-up care recommendation provided.

One days I went to my normal appointment and my baby, after his vaccines was crying inconsolably, and this pediatrician sent me to the hallway because my baby is crying ugly and she couldn't explain something I asked her. It's understandable but as a mother I felt that act was very horrible. by this doctor It's Cristina Pelaez.
