About Daniel Holtz, MD
Dr. Holtz earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Georgia and his Doctorate of Medicine from University of Texas – Houston Medical School. Before joining Wellstar, Dr. Holtz completed his fellowship in hand surgery at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn. Prior, he was a resident physician in general surgery at Emory School of Medicine in Atlanta. Dr. Holtz is board certified in Hand and General Surgery.
In his spare time, Dr. Holtz enjoys running, swimming, World War II history and college football.

It was a good experience! Dr Holtz explained everything I needed to know, very friendly staff! He was running over 20 mins behind was the only drawback, but the front desk lady did inform me about that. I understand that happens.

Wait time to see the doctor was 45-50 minutes after scheduled appt time. I arrived 15 min early as suggested. And still had a 50 min wait Doctor very nice and explained things well. Hopefully treatment will work.

Some confusion with appointment time. I received a text several days ago stating that my appointment was being delayed 15 minutes. From 1030 till 1045. I arrived at 1045 and was told that I was late, appointment was for 1030, and they were not sure I could be seen. I showed them the delaying text and after a short delay they checked me in.

Well, the only thing that I found, not that it was great, but it happens all the time, is my appointment was for 10:15 and I didn't see Dr. Holtz until 11 o'clock. That was about it. So, it's not fair, but that happens all the time. So no matter what doctor you go to. So that was about all, but I did wait a while.
