About Mark Salsberry, MD
Dr. Mark Salsberry earned his bachelor's degree in biology/chemistry from Asbury College in Wilmore, KY, and his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his residency at the Washington Hospital in Washington, PA. Before joining Wellstar, Dr. Salsberry was a family physician at Medical Associates of North Georgia in Canton, GA.
Dr. Salsberry is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is married and has two sons, a daughter and one daughter-in-law. He regularly hikes and jogs at Kennesaw Mountain, and leads an adult Sunday school class at Piedmont Church in Marietta. He also serves as president of the board for Fountain Gate Counseling Center in Kennesaw.

Dr Salsberry is one of the best MD's I have seen in years!!! He took his time, listened, was patient showed compassion and dignity to me as his patient. Being in the healthcare field also, I know it is rare to have this type of physician to take care of you, Especially in an urgent care. I just want to thank him and the staff for taking care of me when i could not do it alone. Katie also called a few days later to check on me which meant so much

Dr. Salsberry was very professional and personable. He listened to my concerns and provided me with a treatment plan which was extremely important because I was leaving to go out of town the next day. Within a couple of days of taking the medication and following his recommendations my plantar fasciitis began to feel better and I was able to walk in excess of 10,000 steps daily.

I was experiencing severe shortness of breath upon my arrival the front desk staff member immediately alerted the medical staff and I was given immediate medical attention. Everyone was concerned and took excellent care of me. Thank you!

Everyone was caring & excellent in whatever position they were in. I called and got immediate answer, walked in and was taken care of right away. Sat in the waiting room for onky minutes. Nurse was very friendly did her prelim exam & told me I would be waiting 15 min. for test results before physician came in. He listened was very caring and clear about what to do. I left with a very good feeling. Bless them all!!
