About Suraj Menachery, MD
Dr. Suraj Menachery received his bachelor's degree from Duke University in Durham, NC. He received his medical degree from the University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. Menachery completed his general surgery residency while at the University of Tennessee and completed his minimally-invasive surgery fellowship in Valhalla, NY.
Dr. Menachery is board-certified by the American Board of General Surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, and the American Society of Metabolic & Bariatric Surgeons.

While Dr Hyde is my Dr but he was out on leave. Dr Menachary saw me and treated me he had to perform a surgery. I was a bit nervous but after speaking with him and feeling how much he cared and was very explanatory from beginning to end!! While I have my reserve about other doctors at well star the General surgery clinic goes above and beyond for their patients. I have never and will never have a complaint about this office the medical assistants, the Nurse Practitioner, the people who check you in, and the nurses are so sweet and kind and patient. And they care about the patients. There is not enough stars our highest ratings for the doctors and their staff here. Dr Menachary and Dr Hyde are top tier top level doctors and a great EXAMPLE on how patients should be treated. I'm happy and will go there for my needs pertaining to what they do and what they treat. Thank you guys for helping me and treating me. You make me feel human and not like a medical number.

Dr Menacherry and Ke'Lah were amazing. I was amazed with their bedside manner and energy. It definitely kept me at ease during my procedure. At first I was upset about having to drive the 1.5 hours but I'll gladly make the drive as long as I still see them. They're phenomenal. Shaine at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful when I was struggling with my cards. An amazing experience all the way around.

The back office staff is great. The front desk could be a bit friendlier, but they were pretty busy. I would suggest asking patients who don't have themselves together, to step aside and find all their information while bumping people ahead that arrive prepared, instead of making them wait on patients who are unprepared.
