Terrace Café
Our main restaurant features cafeteria-style dining, offering breakfast, lunch and
dinner items, along with daily lunch specials, salad bar, freshly prepared sandwiches,
grilled items, pizza, desserts, snacks and more.

Designed for students of Augusta University, but open to all, the Atrium Dining Hall is a short walk across Laney Walker Boulevard. It features a daily menu of hot and cold items, including cooked-to-order breakfast, grilled items, sandwiches, pizza, entrees, desserts and more.

The Image Boutique
We offer unique and thoughtful gifts for cancer patients. Patients can also schedule a consultation with our Image Recovery Specialist, a licensed cosmetologist and mastectomy and prosthetic fitter, to help patients explore wigs, prostheses, surgical and mastectomy garments, or compression garments.

Volunteer Services main goal is to integrate volunteers throughout the academic health center where they have the greatest impact to Wellstar MCG Health's patients and team members. In doing this, Volunteer Services is also devoted to providing a meaningful experience for the volunteer that aligns with the hospital's mission and the volunteer's goals and desire to give back to the community.
To us, volunteers are a vital and appreciated force, willing to donate their time and skills and are committed to making a difference right here at Wellstar MCG Health and in support of their community.
Volunteer Opportunities
- Escort Liaison: Greet, direct, and assist families around Wellstar MCG Health and the Children's Hospital of Georgia
- No One Dies Alone: Sit with patients in their final moments to provide support and dignity at the time of death.
- Inpatient Liaison: Serve on our units to provide staff support as well as engagement and rounding of patients.
- Pet Therapy Partner: Assist with pet therapy dogs to bring love and lower anxiety in patients and families.
- Healing Arts: These volunteers share their passion for art and music through displays and performances.
- Patient & Family Advisors: Former or current patients who advocate on advisory boards for patients and families.

Virtual Volunteering is for you! Virtual Volunteers are volunteers who donate goods to Wellstar MCG Health. Examples of Donations Needed
Socks (all sizes):Fun socks are used by patients of all ages to stay cozy during their stay as well as add a pop of fun to their wardrobe
Blankets:Blankets are used to keep our patients warm and comfortable during their stay. Blankets can be bought, due to infection control standards, we cannot accept any used or homemade blankets.
Pre-Packaged Snacks and Water Bottles:These items are given to families in our Intensive Care Units who may be at the hospital for extended periods of time with their loved one.
Adult Activities:We are in need of puzzles, crosswords, adult coloring books, colored pencils, decks of cards, etc. to help pass the time for our adult patients.
Onesies and footie pajamas: New preemie to 1-year old baby clothes with tags for our NICU babies.
Toys: Brand new toys in original packaging. Due to infection control standards, we cannot accept any used toys or stuffed animals.
